Hi - this is my very first blog ever - no facebook, no twitter - not even a friends reunited. Must be quick for bedmaking calls. Back at college today after half term - omg spent 2 hours squinting down a microscope looking at onion cells - things can only get better from here on in. The garden is hideous - all weekend spent chopping and heaping. Open gardens is a week earlier this year so it's going to be panic stations. The dogs are giving me pleading looks but no time yet - maybe later.....

New log burner at Bubbenhall House

At last it has arrived the fire I ordered last year, the only problem is I think we have burnt a tree already. The advantage I have is that my eldest son is an "arby" although I still get charged for him to cut the wood up!

Snowed in at Bubbenhall House

Snow stopped the country and some of our customers didn't make it to the Trade Show. My son took full advantage as the snow lay thick on the ground and the lane was icy so he convinced me that college would not be open.
